Conor is a tax law specialist with a passion for solving novel tax issues for clients.
Since starting as a law graduate at Chapman Tripp, Conor has developed technical tax expertise in a range of practice areas, including cross-border transactions, debt and equity structuring, banking and finance, trusts, property and GST.
Conor’s clients include high net worth individuals, private equity firms, banks, listed companies and not-for-profits.
- Working closely with high net worth clients on complex tax issues, including structuring international investments.
- Advising a leading private equity firm client on its domestic and offshore acquisitions.
- Acting on some of the largest securitisation transactions in the New Zealand market.
- Helping a number of the firm’s corporate clients with designing and implementing their employee share schemes, including exempt employee share schemes.
