Nick specialises in investment funds, KiwiSaver, financial services regulation, responsible investment and climate-related disclosure matters.
Prior to joining Chapman Tripp, Nick spent 5 years in the in-house legal team at New Zealand's largest bank, supporting all aspects of its funds management and private banking businesses. This experience included a secondment into a senior ESG role leading the implementation of New Zealand's climate-related disclosure regime. Prior to this Nick worked as a tax and financial services lawyer in London and Auckland.
Nick's experience provides him with a deep understanding of the commercial realities of the financial services sector. Nick focuses on pragmatic and compliant solutions for clients' complex legal problems.
