Bridget is an experienced property lawyer advising on all aspects of commercial property law, including leasing, acquisitions, disposals, developments, subdivisions and building matters.

Bridget acts for national businesses, listed companies and leading New Zealand developers, providing strategic advice across the full lifecycle of property transactions, from acquisition and development through to divestment.

She has significant experience advising on the sale and acquisition of commercial buildings, shopping centres and large landholdings, as well as resolving complex land title issues.

Prior to rejoining Chapman Tripp, where she began her legal career, Bridget worked in-house in the banking sector in New Zealand and London, and as a property specialist at another leading New Zealand law firm.

  • Advising an international chemicals company on leasing and development matters relating to its New Zealand sites.
  • Advising an international aviation company on a substantial end-of-lease dispute.
  • Advising on, and assisting with, a successful application to the High Court to modify an easement under the Property Law Act 2007.
