Josh specialises in property and construction law, with a particular emphasis on infrastructure, energy and telecommunications sectors.
He assists clients across property acquisitions, developments, commercial leasing, disposals and infrastructure matters.
Prior to joining Chapman Tripp, Josh gained broad experience working in the public sector as a legal advisor, and in the commercial property team of another private law firm.
Recent highlights
- Working closely with Wellington International Airport across its property portfolio, including the disposal of large land holdings and leasing arrangement with Greater Wellington Regional Council.
- Working with Chorus across its property portfolio, advising on infrastructure issues and its legislative rights / obligations.
- Assisting multiple clients in solar farm acquisitions, developments and investments.
- Assisting multiple public and private sector clients across a broad range of construction contracts and procurement matters.
- Assisting forestry sector clients in land acquisition and Emissions Trading Scheme related matters.
