Specialising in employment and health and safety, Tanzam provides comprehensive advice to clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
She has represented employers in health and safety investigations and WorkSafe prosecutions. Tanzam has also assisted and represented clients on several high-profile coronial inquests. Tanzam regularly represents clients at mediations with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment, and has appeared before the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court.
Beyond litigation, Tanzam provides ongoing advice and support on restructures, disciplinary investigations and performance management processes.

- Assisted Whangarei Boys High School in relation to the WorkSafe prosecution resulting from the 2023 Abbey Caves fatality.
- Represented Hato Hone St John in the coronial inquest into the death of an inmate at Auckland South Corrections Facility.
- Represented Hawke’s Bay Regional Council and Civil Defence Emergency Management Group in the coronial inquest into the deaths resulting from the Auckland Anniversary floods and Cyclone Gabrielle.
- Advised Resolution Life Australasia on its acquisition of Asteron Life from Suncorp New Zealand.
- Advised Sky Network TV on its acquisition of Discovery NZ from Warner Bros Discovery.
