Having a flourishing and reciprocal relationship with the community and environment in which we live and work is central to Chapman Tripp as a firm, and has been throughout our history.
We are proud to play an active role in our communities. Being connected to, and investing in, our community and environment has been embedded in our DNA for over 100 years.
In our 2023 Community Report, we are proud to spotlight some of the many, varied and incredible organisations we have had the privilege to work with, and amazing projects we have participated in, as part of our Community Programme over 2023.
We strongly believe that:
- by supporting organisations who are best placed to deliver positive community outcomes, we enable those organisations to focus on the impact they can have in the communities in which they operate; and
- by working with individuals in need, we can facilitate access to justice for those who do not have it.
Community and public good are not static concepts – they move with society and the issues we are facing, as communities, at any given time. We believe that taking a broad and inclusive approach to our Community Programme is the best way to make the differences we aspire to make in our communities.
During 2023, we continued to build the breadth and extent of our Community Programme. We re-affirmed our commitments to our Community Partners and the purpose of our programme, including as a means of driving continued growth in the impact we are able to have. We also took steps to broaden the relationships with and between our Community Partners.
We are excited to continue this growth through 2024.
