Auckland corporate partner Rachel Dunne and Wellington litigation partner Nicola Swan have been named Young Influencers on the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers 2021 list, highlighting their accomplishments and contributions to the legal profession. Dunne is also one of two exclusively recognised Lawyers for ‘Capital Markets: Equity in New Zealand’ in IFLR’s Asia Future Leaders 2021.

Rachel Dunne specialises in corporate and securities law with particular expertise in equity capital markets. With a reputation for ensuring complex and involved processes run smoothly, Rachel has acted on many of New Zealand's most significant initial public offerings (IPOs), secondary capital raisings and other large-scale equity capital markets transactions. She is the go-to adviser in New Zealand on these matters for regulators, issuers, lead managers, underwriters and other market participants.
Nicola Swan leads Chapman Tripp’s international law practice. She has particular expertise in international arbitration, New Zealand commercial dispute resolution, public international law, public law and climate risk. Effective in developing case and advocacy strategy, she has broad experience before international arbitral tribunals and in domestic courts. Nicola regularly advises on disputes with an international element and those which incorporate both public and commercial law. In the last 18 months, Nicola has been recognised for her expertise advising on climate risk in New Zealand.
