We’re pleased to announce that Greer Fredricson has been appointed as Chair of the New Zealand Stewardship Code Governance Committee.
The New Zealand Stewardship Code is a set of principles and guidelines designed to promote responsible investment practices among institutional investors. It aims to enhance the long-term value of investments by encouraging transparency, accountability, and sustainable practices. The Code is jointly hosted by Toitū Tahua: Centre for Sustainable Finance and the Responsible Investment Association Australasia.
Greer Fredricson is a Special Counsel in Chapman Tripp’s Corporate & commercial team, and the firm’s Community Director. She advises clients on a range of matters including governance advice and structuring. She has advised on the establishment of, or investment into, multiple private equity, venture capital and impact funds.
Greer has a deep understanding of the importance of responsible stewardship and the impact it can have on both the economy and the environment. Her expertise and commitment to impactful investments position her to effectively lead the Governance Committee.
