Chapman Tripp is pleased to have acted as legal advisor to Precinct Properties Group (Precinct) on its recent $285m Placement and $40m Share Purchase Plan (SPP) of new stapled shares. The transaction was well supported by shareholders, with both the placement and SPP oversubscribed.
The Chapman Tripp team advising Precinct comprised Partner Roger Wallis, Senior Associate Findlay Jacob-Sauer, and Solicitors Gracie Jones and Hannah Houghton.
“Precinct’s ability to attract such strong shareholder support reflects the depth of the New Zealand capital markets and the confidence in Precinct’s strategy and outlook,” said Roger Wallis.
Chapman Tripp’s role in this transaction further demonstrates our expertise and leadership in advising on high-value capital market transactions in New Zealand. A team led by partners Rachel Dunne and Philip Ascroft, assisted by senior solicitor Ella Knoester and Solicitor Zoe Tinkler, recently acted for SkyCity Entertainment Group on its $240 million underwritten equity raise, comprising a $81m institutional placement and $159m accelerated non-renounceable entitlement offer (ANREO).
