Chapman Tripp has advised Jardine Matheson on the New Zealand legal aspects of its agreement to acquire a 100% interest in I-MED Radiology Network for a total enterprise value of A$3.4b.
I-MED is a leading provider of diagnostic imaging and teleradiology services across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, performing millions of patient procedures annually.
The acquisition represents a significant investment by Jardine Matheson in a high-quality healthcare platform, marking its entry into the Australian and New Zealand markets through a scaled healthcare business with a strong regional footprint.
The Chapman Tripp team was led by Partner Rachel Dunne, with support from Partner Philip Ascroft and Senior Solicitors Bill Caldwell and Ruth Wright. Specialist advice was provided by Lucy Cooper, Sophie Harker, Grace Rippingale and Scarlet Roberts.
