Chapman Tripp has won the Best in Future of Work Award at the 2024 IDC Future Enterprise Awards for the Asia Pacific region. This follows on from its win at the Australia and New Zealand awards in October.
Spanning 12 countries, the awards recognise organisations that are redefining their industries through outstanding digital transformation (DX) efforts and harnessing technology to achieve business success and gain competitive advantage. This year's awards received 869 nominations, across 582 organisations.
Chapman Tripp received this prestigious award for its innovative initiative, Project Minerva, which has significantly transformed the firm’s document management system (DMS), modernised its workflow, and replaced several legacy systems, resulting in improved efficiency, enhanced collaboration and knowledge management within the firm. Chapman Tripp is the only professional services firm recognised at the awards.
Chief Digital Officer Sean Bishop said, "'Project Minerva' represents our commitment to leveraging cutting-edge cloud technologies alongside traditional on-premises systems to create a seamless integration experience for our employees. This initiative demonstrates our dedication to fostering an environment where innovation and teamwork thrive.”
“We are incredibly proud of our technology team's hard work and ingenuity which made this achievement possible. As we continue to grow, we are excited to foster talented individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful impact through legal technology that benefits our people and clients.”
IDC is a global provider of market intelligence, advisory services, and events for the information technology, telecommunications, and consumer technology markets, with more than 1,300 analysts worldwide.
Chapman Tripp has seen positive results from its continued investment in new technology, earning a NetDocuments Inspire Award for Security and Governance at the 2023 awards event in Texas. This marks the first time a New Zealand business has been recognised at these awards. Additionally, CDO Sean Bishop was named a finalist at the 2023 NZ CIO of the Year Awards.
